Medical Assistance Programs. As a non-profit organization we provide a wide range of services to aid low-income families and the elderly with a program of affordable treatment for their ill or injured pets. We recognize the right of every individual to maintain a happy, healthy environment for the welfare of all animals as well as our community.

Spay and Neuter. We promote the spay and neuter of all animals. We provide medical assistance to all qualified pet owners to the extent our funds allow. Controlling overpopulation is a proactive means of preventing cruelty to animals.

This is a very interesting fact published by the SPCA: One female cat and her offspring can produce 73,000 kittens in six years while a female dog can produce 'only' 67,000 puppies in the same amount of time.

Vaccine Clinics. We recognize the need for all animals to be vaccinated and provide assistance for low cost vaccine clinics as well as free vaccines for animals that qualify for this service.

Valley Animal Medical Foundation sponsors Vaccine Clinics each quarter. Clinics were recently held at the Joslyn Senior Center on Feb 15th and at the Mizell Senior Center on Feb 22nd. We have been ask by the City of Coachella to submit a proposal for clinics to be hosted in their city sometime during the second quarter of this year. Please check our calendar for the dates and times of our next vaccine clinic.
