By
working closely with surrounding cities and participating
with animal adoption groups, Valley Animal Medical Foundation
has increased public awareness of abandoned, injured, and
homeless animals. We help fund the medical needs of these
animals so they can be placed in a loving protective
environment.
During the months of January and February, VAMF assisted
in the rescue of over 48 dogs and cats from the Indio shelter.
All these animals have been spayed, neutered, and vaccinated.
Many have already been placed in loving homes and the rest
are awaiting adoption in a healthy, safe environment. Our
goal for the year 2003 is to rescue over 500 animals.
